and Rug Shop. We are located in the historic Old Town Plaza in Albuquerque,
New Mexico. Since 1958, the "Basket Shop" has been offering
the widest range of southwestern gifts available! We also feature crafts
from around the world that complement southwestern homes and decors.
Our exclusive line of Chimayo Rugs is handcrafted by one of the most
prestigious weaving families in New Mexico.
Our store in Old Town is located in Don Luis Plaza across from the main
Old Town Plaza. Shopping at the "Basket Shop" is an adventure
in itself. We have over 10,000 square feet of space filled with treasures
of the Southwest and Mexico. You can buy everything from Mexican Jumping
Beans to our fine hand woven Chimayo Rugs. We hope you enjoy our online
